Preparation for the spring: work has been done in the Burlin region

Akim of West Kazakhstan region Nariman Toregaliyev paid a working visit to Burlinsky district and carefully checked the implementation of measures to combat spring floods.

In the burlinsky district, planned works on flood prevention are being actively carried out. In dangerous areas, protective dams have been installed and water supply systems have been put in order. For example, protective dams have been built in Pugachevo, Aksu, Kentubek, Baktyaral, Araltal microdistricts, Karachaganak, Dimitrovo, and Zharsuat villages. In the city of Aksai, the ditch systems were modernized and the water protection dam of the Kyzyltal microdistrict was restored.

7 culverts were installed on the dam in the village of Burlinsky, built during last year's flood, which is necessary for the passage of meltwater. In the village of Kanai, 3 gateways were also installed to pass water, and dams were strengthened. In total, more than 50 kilometers of protective dams have been built throughout the district.

During the visit, Governor of the region Nariman Toregaliyev saw with his own eyes the work done and inspected the protective dams in the villages of Aksu, Kentubek, Araltal, Burlinsky and Kanai. In addition, the head of the region took part in the exercises of the Operational Response Team in the district center, assessed the readiness for an emergency situation and instructed to organize work at a high level and quality.
