Information Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Information Committee is an agency of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan executing regulatory, realizable and supervisory functions and participating in execution of strategic functions of the Ministry in the field of information.

The mission of the Committee is to establish and implement the effective national policy in the field of information for the purpose of information and communications complex development.

The goals of the Committee:

1) participation in implementation of national policy in the field of mass media, TV and radio broadcasting;

2) execution of public regulation in the field of TV and radio broadcasting and mass media;

3) international cooperation in the field of mass media within its competence in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
