Irgiz district (Kaz. Yrgyz audany) is a second-level administrative-territorial unit in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the village of Irgiz.
The population of the district is 15,037 people (as of early 2020).
The head of the district is Kyzbergenov Nurlan Kasymkhanuly.
In the Irgiz region there are settlements Amankol, Akshi, Belsher, Duken, Zhaisanbai, Zhanys bi, Zharma, Irgiz, Kalybai, Karakudyk, Karasai, Kuyilys, Kumtogay, Kurylys, Kutikol, Mamyr, Nura, Shenbertal.
The state institution "Apparatus of akim of the Irgiz region" in accordance with the legislation in order to protect the interests of the region in relations with state bodies, organizations and citizens, and to ensure compliance with the Constitution, laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, carries out organizational and legal, information and analytical, other support for the activities of the akim of the Irgiz region.
