The Senate considered the Conclusion of the Supreme Audit Chamber on the Government's Report on the Execution of the Budget for 2024

At a meeting of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, key findings from the Conclusion of the Supreme Audit Chamber to the Government's Report on the Execution of the Republican budget for 2024 were considered.

In addition to the shortcomings and violations discussed at the last plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan, specific examples related to a number of spheres were also considered.

For example, errors have been identified in the collection of data on the wear of sewage treatment plants in the housing and communal services sector. In some regions, local executive authorities are planning the construction of sewer networks without taking into account the lack of sewage treatment plants.

In the agricultural sector, there is still no full-fledged identification and registration of farm animals in the Ministry of Agriculture's information system. However, this system is a key tool for confirming the presence of animals in order to receive government support.

The risks of not achieving the goals of national projects, previously identified by the SAC, remain relevant. In particular, due to the incomplete implementation of the "Available Internet" National Project, more than 750,000 residents in approximately 860 villages still do not have access to the internet.

The slow pace of the Rural Healthcare Modernization project has resulted in the completion of only 65% of the planned facilities.

Appropriate recommendations have been prepared for all identified shortcomings. The Supreme Audit Chamber will closely monitor their implementation.
