Young musicians from Karaganda became the winners of the Vlll International Piano Training Competition among students and students of various specialties EURASIA PIANO FORUM in Astana.
About 200 pupils of specialized schools and college students of Kazakhstan and China showed their skills in creative competitions.
The jury included artists of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan – Bayan Mukusheva, Zufar Arzayev, Narmina Guliyeva, Elena Shin and Lyubov Glinka.
From the specialized music boarding school of Karaganda, 16 people took part in the competition, nine of them were laureates, the rest were awarded diplomas.
A student of the 6th grade of a specialized music boarding school, Danil Habibrakhmanov, became a first-degree laureate, he also received special prizes from the jury members and for the best performance of a play by a Kazakh composer.
– I'm 12 years old. I've been doing music since I was five. At the competition in Astana, he played two compositions – "Little Hungarian Rhapsody" and "The Tale of the Koshchey Kingdom". And took the first place. There were about 40 participants in my group from 4th to 6th grade. I am grateful to my piano teacher Aizhan Boltashevna Beispekova. Music is already an integral part of my life, and I plan to develop this direction further," said Danil Habibrakhmanov, a student of the 6th grade of specialized music boarding school.
A special prize from the jury was also awarded to Karima Maksut and Dayana Geisten.
The competition was held on the basis of the Kazakh National University of Arts. This year the university celebrates 25 years since its foundation.
Karaganda athlete Nikita Abdrakhmanov became the absolute world champion in weightlifting. The championship among boys and girls was held in Albania, the city of Durres.
256 boys and 248 girls from 54 countries took part in the competitions. From the Karaganda region, Daria Balabayuk and Nikita Abdrakhmanov joined the Kazakhstan national team – and both won medals.
Nikita Abdrakhmanov justified the hopes of his coach Alexander Kiryukhin and the fans. In the weight category up to 102 kg, he lifted 369 kg in total. Jerk – 164 kg, push – 205 kg. As a result, gold.
Daria Balabayuk won the bronze medal in the snatch. Last year, a pupil of the regional integrated sports school took third place in the snatch at the World Weightlifting Championships among boys and girls and second in the clean and jerk at the Asian Championships.

The Karaganda regional maslikhat was headed by Nurken Kobzhanov, who previously worked as the akim of the Bukhara-Zhyrau district. The first session began with the announcement of the election results.
According to the chairman of the regional election commission Kairat Nurkenov, a total of 214 deputies of maslikhats of all levels were elected.
For the first time, elections to the regional maslikhat were held according to the proportional majority system. Of the 36 seats, half were occupied by deputies elected in single-mandate districts. And 18 mandates are distributed according to party lists.
As a result of the elections, the composition of the Karaganda regional maslikhat was updated. Eight people from the previous convocation retained their parliamentary powers.
At the session, newly elected deputies were handed certificates.
Then the chairman of the regional maslikhat was elected. Also, the deputies were distributed among the permanent commissions and elected their chairmen.
Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev addressed the deputies. The head of the region outlined the tasks that will be solved jointly. Among the priorities are employment, development of small and medium–sized businesses, affordable housing, quality healthcare and education.
– This year we are facing the task of increasing the gross regional product by 2.4% with the creation of more than 10 thousand new jobs. To do this, it is planned to implement 11 investment projects worth 147 billion tenge, – said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – The voters have put before you a number of problems that need to be solved. I am sure that thanks to joint efforts we will ensure the further development of the region and improve the quality of life of our residents.
The winner of the Asian Cup was the coach-teacher of the regional school of national sports "Kairat" Nadezhda Kefer. The Karaganda athlete won silver.
The international championship was held in Shymkent. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan took part in the competitions. 55 women participated in the "60 meters" category, five of them from Karaganda. Nadezhda Kefer managed to get to the final and win a silver medal.
The mentor and athlete became a prize-winner of the Kazakhstan championship last year. Now the archer will prepare for the international tournament in Atyrau and the new republican championship.

Ninth-graders of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Karaganda Aldiyar Nakyp and Alpamys Isabekov have developed a special device for people suffering from heart diseases. The project "Implantable pacing and defibrillation system" took the first place at the competition in Astana. For the successful defense of the work, Aldiyar was awarded a grant from the Kazakh-British Technical University.
– Our device is implanted under the skin, and electrodes are installed in the heart through blood vessels. The device instantly detects the type of disease and sends special electrical impulses. These impulses affect the heart muscles, suppressing or accelerating their work," Aldiyar said.
The pacing and defibrillation system can help in the treatment of tachycardia, bradycardia and ventricular fibrillation.
Aldiyar presented the project at the Nauryz meetings of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. This year, about 100 projects in six sections participated in the biomedicine, engineering and technology competition. The work of Karaganda schoolchildren was recognized as the best in the category "Creation of "smart" prostheses and their elements. Exo- and endoprosthetics".
Another student of the Karaganda NIS – Ulan Mustafin – took 3rd place in the section "Hardware and software for monitoring the functional state of the human body".

Yerlan Galiyev has three higher educations: in 2003 he graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy; in 2006 - the Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov; in 2012 – the Modern Humanitarian and Technical Institute. He is a lawyer, Master of Law, Bachelor of Economics.
The sporting achievements of 73-year-old resident of the Shet district of the Karaganda region, Daribay Ospanov, were noted by the President of Kazakhstan. The multiple champion of Kazakhstan, two-time Asian and world champion in powerlifting, honored coach Daribai Ospanov was born in 1949 in a family of railway workers. He followed in the footsteps of his parents and gave his whole life to the railroad. I've been doing sports since my youth. I have been seriously interested in powerlifting for the last 18 years. He won his first victory in 2010 at the Asian Championship in the Philippines, lifting a bar weighing 140 kg. To date, he is the absolute world champion in equipment bench press among veterans.
Daribai Ospanov raised three children, instilled in them all a love of sports. Karaman's youngest son has been coaching himself since he was 13. As a result, Karaman became an honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a master of sports of international class in powerlifting. He not only performs at competitions, but also trains children in his native Agadyr.
Almaz Ospanov, the eldest son, is a master of sports of the international class of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a coach of the highest category. The middle son, Manas Ospanov, also became a master of sports. The younger generation is not far behind. Grandson of Daribai Ospanov Aytas is a multiple participant in powerlifting competitions, fulfilled the standard of the master of sports.
Daribai Ospanov is not going to stop there. He continues to practice five times a week and is going together with his sons to defend the honor of Kazakhstan at international competitions this year.
– In October we plan to take part in the world championship in Mongolia, and in June we are going to India. We are constantly preparing," says the sports veteran. – The main secret of longevity in sports is not to lie down, but to constantly engage in physical culture, run outside for good blood circulation. And yet, it is necessary to set goals and achieve them. My goal is to get the title of Honored Master of Sports and become a world champion several times.
Astana and Almaty hosted the FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge competitions to select the best roboticists for the republican stage of the First Robotics International Championship.
