Mugalzhar district is a district in Aktobe region. The center is the city of Kandyagash. The district is located in the central part of Aktobe region, bordered to the north by alga and Khromtau districts, to the South By Baiganinsky and Shalkar districts, to the West by Temir, to the East by Aiteke bi districts. 38 localities in the district are united in 3 city akimats, 12 rural districts:
The population is 67416 people (2019). National composition: Kazakhs (92.13%), Russians (5.41%), Ukrainians (0.83%), Germans (0.19%), Tatars (0.59%), others (0.85%).
The mission of the state institution" Office of the Akim of mugalzhar district " is to provide information and analytical, organizational, legal, material and technical support to the activities of the akimat and Akim of the district for sustainable socio-economic development of the region.
