The akim of the region held a visiting meeting with the mayors of cities and heads of thermal power plants to prepare for the winter season

This year, 40 units of equipment (boilers, turbines, chimneys) are planned to be repaired at the energy enterprises of the region. As of today, 12 units have been repaired, 22 units of equipment are in operation, 6 units are scheduled for repair in September 2023. All works are carried out according to the established schedules and are under special control of local executive bodies.

Out of 1277 multi-storey residential buildings in Pavlodar, 1064 MZhD are ready for the heating season, 643 MZhD out of 690 in Ekibastuz, 225 MZhD out of 264 in Aksu. For all houses with low readiness to accept heat, the head of the region instructed to strengthen the work of the housing inspectorate, organize meetings of residents, provide the necessary advisory assistance.

The governor of the region stressed that the demand from responsible persons for insufficient attention to the preparation for the heating season will be strict. Kindergartens, schools, hospitals and other social facilities should be taken under special control. Of the 586 educational facilities, 560 (95.6%) are currently prepared. Out of 317 healthcare facilities, 304 (95.9%) have been prepared. It is planned to fully ensure the readiness of all social infrastructure facilities by September 15.

The total demand for solid fuel in the upcoming heating season is 479.0 thousand tons, including 326.0 thousand tons for the population. The head of the region instructed the akims to draw up a list of socially unprotected families in advance to provide coal.

- I set before all of you – the heads of the CHP, the mayors of the cities, the only task – this year the heating season should be held in normal mode. All repair campaigns must be completed on time. This is your personal responsibility," the governor of the region noted.

Also, Asain Baykhanov instructed to inform the population in a timely manner about the timing of eliminating the identified damage and connecting residential buildings to heat reception. In the first days of the beginning of the heating period, all departments of the housing inspection, city emergency and utility services should switch to a round-the-clock operation. The heads of energy companies have been instructed to complete all repair campaigns by September 15.
