A new extension to Secondary School No. 9 named Shapyka Shokina was opened in Pavlodar

Today, 2,392 children study at Gymnasium No. 9, while the building is designed for 1,420 students. To solve the problem of shortage of places, a new building with 324 seats was erected to the main building of the school.

Today, Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov visited the opening of a new extension for elementary school students.

- I am glad that the main task has been solved. The opening of the annex building was another step towards the elimination of three shifts in schools. Thank you for your patience and caring teachers and parents. I wish everyone success in their achievements and gaining knowledge," the governor of the region wished.

The new building houses spacious and comfortable classrooms, a dining room, and a gym. The guests were also shown the stem research laboratory. A passenger elevator is provided at the school for groups with limited mobility. The auditorium has a modern LED screen and music equipment.

Classes in the new building for 700 elementary school students will begin from the third quarter on January 8.
