The progress of the repair campaign at the Ekibastuz thermal power plant was inspected by the head of the region Asain Baykhanov

Repair work has been completed on two boilers of Ekibastuz thermal Power Plant: No. 7 (major repairs) and No. 9 (ongoing repairs). The dismantling of the old equipment has been completely completed at boilers No. 11, No. 14 and No. 15. Work continues on boilers No. 12 and No. 13, insulation is being dismantled and defective.

Along with updating the equipment, the station buildings are also being repaired. To restore the thermal contour of the building of the main building of the ETEC, a technical inspection of the structure was carried out, a map of wall and ceiling plates to be dismantled and replaced was compiled. Industrial climbers, specialized equipment and machinery are involved in the work. It is planned to complete the work by the end of summer.

Work on the reconstruction of heating mains is underway on time. More than 2,400 meters of pipes have already been laid here today.

Asain Baykhanov noted that it is impossible to reduce the pace and quality of the work carried out, since the success of the heating seasons of the following years depends on coordinated work in all directions.
