A record amount of 27 billion tenge was allocated this year for the repair of roads in the Pavlodar region

A meeting on road repair in the region was held in the regional akimat. In total, 136 projects are being implemented in 2023, it is planned to repair 656 km of roads of regional and district significance, as well as streets of settlements.

The work is proceeding according to the approved schedule, with no time lag. As of today, 40 sites have been fully completed. There is all the necessary infrastructure, there are 23 asphalt concrete plants, 13 quarries for the extraction of crushed stone and 1 bitumen production plant.

The control is carried out by the Road Asset Quality Center. It was found that out of 442 asphalt samples from sites repaired in 2022-2023, 87 do not meet the standard, 286 defects of varying degrees were also identified.

Asain Baykhanov instructed contractors to eliminate all identified defects as soon as possible within the framework of warranty obligations, and akims of cities and districts to keep the implementation of road infrastructure repairs under special control.
