Repair of equipment of Ekibastuz thermal power plant was discussed today at a meeting with the participation of the first deputy akim of Pavlodar region Khasar Khabylbekov and the founder of JSC "CAEC" Sergey Kan

This year, it is planned to repair all 10 boilers at the ETEC (5 hot water and 5 power), of which 8 boilers are undergoing major repairs. To date, 265 people have been involved in various areas of repair work at the station.

Dismantling works on hot water boilers are being completed, after which, from June 15, specialists will begin directly to repair. Boiler cleaning and preparatory works are carried out on power boilers.

Since June 1, the repair of flues and chimney has begun. Also, during June, the delivery of the first part of the equipment necessary for the overhaul of the boiler units of the CHP is expected.

Khasar Khabylbekov noted that on behalf of the akim of the region, Asain Baykhanov, all work should be carried out on time. The timely completion of each stage of the repair of the Ekibastuz CHPP is important for the subsequent work and is under special control of the leadership of the region.
