More than 400 kilometers of roads will be repaired in Pavlodar region

This will increase the share of good roads to 93 percent.This was announced at a meeting in the regional akimat by the head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways Kanat Kashkirov.

According to him, this year 72 projects are planned to be implemented in the region to repair highways of settlements with a total length of 412 kilometers, of which 25 kilometers of roads of regional significance, 240 of district significance and 147 kilometers of streets of settlements.

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov emphasized the need to repair access roads to villages. However, according to Kanat Kashkirov, such projects are not considered by the Ministry of Industry as a priority due to their low cost.

- People should be a priority, - Abylkair Skakov disagreed. - In the structure of roads of regional significance, access roads are the most critical indicator. They have never been seriously engaged. Therefore, there is no transport connection with these villages. Offer a solution, prepare documentation.

Most of the work will be carried out under the project "Auyl – el besigi". Thus, 29 projects are aimed at the average repair of streets in 15 rural settlements with a total length of 69 kilometers.

Also during the meeting, Kanat Kashkirov reported on the lack of regulatory funding in the districts of the region, which does not allow to provide and preserve the roadway. With a standard of 1 million tenge per 1 kilometer per year, akimats of cities and districts allocate an average of 160 thousand tenge per 1 kilometer per year.

The head of the region instructed to develop a map in the context of cities and districts of the region with detailed information on the condition of roads and the allocation of funds for their maintenance.

- It is necessary that the pace of restoration work exceeds the rate of destruction of the roadway, - said Abylkair Skakov. - Therefore, you must show which akims untimely allocate funds for repair work. It seems that we allocate funds, but we are catching up all the time. So that the money does not go into the sand, you need to make this map.

In addition, the akim of the region set a task for the representatives of the National Company "KazAvtoZhol" to complete the repair of the 24-kilometer section of the Pavlodar - Nur-Sultan highway by the end of summer, and also instructed the akims of cities and districts to plan the installation of pipes for safe drainage during the flood period during the construction and repair of roads.
