Civil servants of Pavlodar region popularize a healthy lifestyle

Employees of state bodies from all over the region took part in the regional volleyball Spartakiad. The tournament, held in the Bayantau sports complex, gathered more than 100 civil servants.

The participants of the competition were welcomed by Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov. The head of the region noted that in the last two years, the traditional volleyball sports contest among civil servants was not held due to covid restrictions, and wished his colleagues to meet more often on sports grounds in the future.

- Our main task is to popularize an active lifestyle in society and in public service, - the mayor stressed. - By doing sports, civil servants show an example to the younger generation. I am sure that playing sports in a team raises the corporate spirit and a sense of patriotism. I wish every team success!

13 squads from each city and district of Pavlodar region showed up to participate in the Spartakiad. All teams were divided into four groups, the winners of which had to compete for prizes among themselves. In each match, they played to win in two sets.
