Commercial and scientific projects were presented by students and scientists of the Innovative University of Eurasia

A robot promoter, free digitalization courses for pensioners and demercurization of the territory near Lake Bylkyldak - this and many others are being worked on at InEU. Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov visited one of the largest universities in the region and talked with its students and teaching staff.
For the head of the region, representatives of the Innovative Eurasian University organized an exhibition of their own projects. Among them are student start-ups and social projects. For example, a university student Konstantin Slesarenko, who is engaged in robotics, presented a moving dummy designed to replace a living promoter.
“Customers most often pass by classic mannequins,” the student said. - Such a “barker” attracts the attention of people due to her movement. It can be used to promote clothing stores and catering and fast food outlets. He can easily replace the promoter, who at any time may not go to work or get sick.
Other students of InEU today teach information literacy to pensioners. Once a week, students independently teach older people how to work with smartphones and popular applications and programs. These include Egov and its mobile version, bank payment systems and other useful services. Today young people have 48 listeners, but the demand for their services is constantly growing. Abylkair Skakov thanked the guys for the development of such a social project.
“Our older generation should know how to pay for the same services from the comfort of their homes using mobile applications,” he said. - Such undertakings need to be supported.
The Innovative Eurasian University has its own solutions for the environmental problems of the Pavlodar region. University scientists have developed a technology for demercurization of Lake Bylkyldak. This will make it possible to return water resources to economic circulation. It is also proposed to remove mercury from the soil near the polluted reservoir. The university intends to neutralize the mercury in the ground with the help of a special powder developed by Japanese scientists. The first tests have already shown the effectiveness of this method.
Also in InEU the regional akim visited scientific laboratories. Senior lecturer Askar Zhumagazhinov spoke about the work on energy saving and the development of energy efficient technologies. According to him, in warm weather, water is heated for the canteen in the main building of the university due to renewable energy sources. Thanks to solar panels, backup power supply of the university server room is provided.
“Today, in order to reduce losses incurred during energy transportation and increase energy efficiency, large enterprises need to cooperate with research centers,” said Askar Zhumagazhinov. - One of the directions of our work is energy audit, when we point out the areas where it is possible to achieve more effective energy saving.
The head of the region recalled that universities need to work more actively with government agencies and private enterprises. In the future, joint research projects will become a solution to any problem or can be commercialized.
- There is a real demand for support from science in Pavlodar region, - Abylkair Skakov emphasized. “We are experiencing big problems on the same issues of energy consumption and need serious research and obtaining relevant analytics from scientists. In agriculture, we need to develop deep processing, which depends on the technologies proposed by scientists. Cooperation with the scientific community is needed in all areas. And I would like us to move from competition between faculties and specialties to competition of ideas and projects in the near future.
By the way, InEU has already joined the work on the Atlas of new professions. Today, the university is developing five new educational programs that will be launched next year. Among them are the chemical direction, process control in robotics, the training of SMM managers, and more.
