Renovated sports grounds on the territory of schools in Pavlodar region will be open to everyone

This order was given by the head of the region Abylkair Skakov, who visited several educational institutions of Pavlodar. During a working tour, he noted that special attention will be paid to the reconstruction of the sports infrastructure near schools in the coming years, and discussed issues of physical education and mass sports with teachers and coaches.

At school №18, which is on the Second Pavlodar, the regional akim was presented with a new full-size football field, a mini-football field and a field for playing basketball and volleyball. The educational institution noted that everyone has access to the sports infrastructure in the evening.

- Even when this entire sports area was just being equipped, we could safely walk here to run or work out on simulators, - said a resident of one of the houses near the school. - Previously, it was empty, but now there are modern areas for recreation and sports. It is very important that now the local population makes good use of all this.

Abylkair Skakov supported this call, stressing that local residents, together with functionaries from education and sports, should share the responsibility for the safety of the new infrastructure. In addition, the akim demanded to make functional even those small areas on the territory of the educational institution, which after reconstruction remained unclaimed.

The head of the region also visited the neighboring school. K. Bekhozhin, where this year a modern football field, a multifunctional basketball and volleyball court, and a training area were installed. Abylkair Skakov recommended to post an accessible schedule of work of sports grounds. Then the residents of the surrounding area will know at what time they are available.

- This should be the case in every educational institution, - said the akim. - People who will potentially go in for sports on school grounds need to plan their time. Therefore, you need to create conditions for them.

Нere Abylkair Skakov met with physical education teachers, coaches of children and youth schools and sports veterans. He recalled how important sports mentors are for the future generation.

“A lot depends on whether a physical education teacher or a coach will choose the key to a child,” said the akim. - It is in physical education lessons and in sports clubs that character and fortitude are tempered. As a rule, children who are successful in sports achieve success in life. Therefore, we need to think about how to strengthen the sports traditions of the Pavlodar region and involve even more of our children in sports.

The honored coach of Kazakhstan in athletics Viktor Kolyev said that it is partly in the creation of infrastructure that the key to the development of mass sports is. However, this alone is not enough. According to the veteran, it is necessary that the old and new playgrounds are always full of children. It also matters who will work with them.

- Today there are all conditions for mass sports, - said Viktor Kolyev. - I believe that professionals are needed to work with children. For this, masters of sports must be recruited as physical education teachers. Such a specialist will always justify trust and will never work badly.

Other participants of the meeting were also able to speak about the state of sports in Pavlodar region. Yevgeny Kislyakov, a cross-country skiing coach from the Zhelezinsky region, spoke out in defense of winter sports and suggested introducing a regional allowance for their coaches. In addition, in the Irtysh region, it was proposed to conduct advanced training for sports coaches and organize competitions for presidential tests. The head of the region asked physical education teachers, instructors and sports veterans to compile a list of all the problems in the industry and present possible solutions. He promised to once again meet with the sports community to develop a preliminary plan for further action.
