The first private industrial park in Pavlodar region is formed near Ekibastuz

The site next to the Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Nurzhanov, where it is proposed to attract large investors, was visited by the head of the region Abylkair Skakov. Akim of the region also visited other objects in Ekibastuz and held a meeting on a comprehensive plan for the development of the city, which was previously ordered by the Head of State.

Today, not far from the power plant, switchgears are being erected, through which, as planned, the power supply of the industrial park will be produced. This will provide the park's enterprises with affordable electricity. The UAE-based company Canarax, which is implementing the project, already has preliminary agreements with several investors who are ready to launch new production here.

- Taking into account the fact that at the GRES-1 im. Nurzhauov, the modernization and expansion of power unit No. 1 to 500 MW is underway, new opportunities are emerging. This year we must resolve all issues related to bringing the infrastructure to the industrial park. If we provide everything you need, it will be possible to attract investors here, - noted the akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov.

During a working trip to Ekibastuz, the head of the region visited several enterprises. On the basis of EnergoSpetsStroy LLP, he was informed about the rate of production of heating surfaces, which are used at combined heat and power plants and state district power stations. Previously, power plants had to buy similar equipment from Russia. Today there is an opportunity to purchase it in Ekibastuz.

“Today it is expensive and time-consuming to order equipment abroad, our large industrial enterprises need to cooperate with local manufacturers,” Abylkair Skakov emphasized. - This, in turn, will increase the volume of local production and have a positive impact on the regional economy.

At the brick factory "Vershina" LLP, the akim was asked for support in expanding production. Today, the company produces 55 million bricks per year on two production lines. The products are disassembled by customers from other regions of Kazakhstan as soon as they leave the assembly line. That is why the plant cannot cover the demand for brick in Pavlodar region. The LLP management is ready to supply another line with a capacity of 30 million bricks. This requires funding.

“Recently, we held a big meeting on problematic issues in the construction industry and just talked about the brick deficit that occurs during the construction season,” said the head of the region. - If all Ekibastuz bricks are taken “off the wheels,” then expansion is really necessary here. We have big plans for housing construction in the region, and these products will be in demand. It is necessary to work out all the mechanisms of state support in this direction.

Abylkair Skakov was told about the production of equipment for electrical substations and industrial enterprises in the “Electroshield” division of Tamyr LLP. The company has been operating in Ekibastuz for almost 20 years and cooperates with the world's leading manufacturers of electrical equipment.

Akim of the region also visited the only indoor hockey court in Ekibastuz. At one time, Promservice Otan LLP reconstructed an industrial base for a sports facility, which has become popular among Ekibastuz children. Today 185 children are engaged in ice hockey here. The court is also visited by representatives of the older generation.

In the courtyard of house No. 27 on Gogol Street, Akim of Ekibastuz Ardak Kantarbayev announced plans to improve 50 inner courtyards of the city. The head of the region recalled: each project should be discussed with local residents and their proposals should be taken into account.

In the city akimat Abylkair Skakov held a meeting on the comprehensive development plan of Ekibastuz for 2021-2025. It should be reminded that the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, instructed to develop the program. Now the akimat conducts an analysis of all key sectors of the city's development and accepts public recommendations. A comprehensive plan is expected to be presented in a few months.

“When developing a comprehensive development plan for Ekibastuz, we must take into account potential challenges in the future: a decrease in coal production, a transition to green and other modern technologies,” said Abylkair Skakov. - This document should be written in a language understandable to all. In this comprehensive plan, residents of the city should see their future, the future of their children, in order to further connect their lives with Ekibastuz.

In the city park of culture and recreation "Shakhtar" the regional akim took part in planting trees. Within the framework of the national project "Taza Tabigat", 400 seedlings of deciduous and coniferous plants were planted here.
