With jubilee, veterans!

The veteran organization of Pavlodar region celebrated its 35th anniversary. A plenum of the regional council of veterans was held in the Pavlodar “House of Friendship”. It was dedicated to the anniversary of the organization. Bakhtybay Amantayev became the member of Ekibastuz veteran movement and Yury Dubovitsky – head of the primary veteran organization of the Department of Agriculture. “The organization, created in the Soviet times, not only survived, but also strengthened. Our movement has become authoritative, able to solve issues related to older people and influence the consolidation of the society”, chairman of the regional council of veterans Rymtay Shokeyev.

Akim of Pavlodar region, who came to the holiday, gave the letters of thanks to activists of the organization. He noted that the memory, knowledge and experience of aksakals, who united past, present and future of the country, were invaluable for young people. “Without your selfless work and patriotism, we could not touch the today’s heights. The older generation allows us to change the society for the better and is a vivid example for the younger generation”, Bulat Bakauov said.

The head of the region noted that he personally considers all requests of the veterans. For example, a minibus has been recently purchased for the veteran movement. Now the proposal for opening of the house of veteran is considered. “There is also a proposal that our veterans do not go to the public service centers. Akims of the cities and areas will purchase computers for the councils of veterans.  Thus, our aksakals will be able to receive electronic services of PSCs in the councils of veterans with support of the specialists. After participants of the plenum had a dinner and saw a concert in the city Palace of Culture of Yestay.
