The reservoir allows residents of the settlement to water the surrounding areas until mid-May. In the spring months, the excess water entering the Koltogan reservoir via the Akuyuk Canal is discharged into the Shukur-oi lake through a 4-spring hydraulic structure built on the reservoir. In the rest of the year, there is no water in the reservoir.
This year, it is planned to organize a nursery on the territory of the region with a total area of 100 hectares. Of these, it is planned to organize a Seed Garden of saksaul on the territory of 8 hectares, 8 hectares of sowing,84 hectares of seedlings of Poplar(Poplar, Alder, Syr Willow) and sedge (maple, ash, beech), which will be grown in the Garden in order to meet the needs of buyers in the spring and autumn months, as well as for the reproduction of forests and the forest fund, as well as for landscaping and improvement of the city.
Residents of cities and rural localities can plant these types of trees and green their places of residence.
Planting a tree and growing it is a great contribution of every citizen to the improvement of our country.
