"Banned religious organizations in Kazakhstan" - meeting

On March 13, 2026, a meeting "Banned religious organizations in Kazakhstan" was held
During the event, the participants were provided with information about the religious situation in the country, as well as the main provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of religion. Special attention was paid to the prevention of religious extremism and the prevention of the involvement of citizens, especially young people, in the activities of destructive religious movements.
During the meeting, the participants were told about the list of religious organizations whose activities are prohibited on the territory of Kazakhstan by a court decision, as well as about the signs of destructive religious groups and the recruitment methods used by them. The participants were also given recommendations on how to recognize such organizations and not be influenced by them.
