The office of the akim of a rural district (hereinafter referred to as the akim's office) is a state institution that ensures the activities of the akim of a city of district significance, village, settlement, rural district (hereinafter referred to as akim) and performs other functions provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The akim of Zhalagash rural district, A. Sadyrov, on March 17, 2026, based on the March 12, 2026, letter No. 01-10/240 of the akim of Kegen district, N. Tengizbayev, conducted explanatory work with the staff of the apparatus regarding the identification of corruption risks, strengthening organizational measures to prevent them, as well as warning that during the performance of official duties it is strictly prohibited to use official powers for personal or third-party interests, to gain material or other benefits, to receive illegal rewards, or to act as an intermediary, and to comply with legal requirements in the course of their work.

The Nauryz holiday was celebrated on a large scale in the village of Zhalagash. On this day, the villagers revived national traditions and promoted unity and harmony. During the festive events, yurts were set up, tables were laid, and national dishes were offered to guests. Local artists sang songs, danced, and various concert programs were organized. In addition, Kazakh national games were played, with active participation from both young people and adults. This holiday brought a special mood to the residents of Zhalagash village, marking a bright day that symbolizes the arrival of spring, renewal, and the beginning of goodness.
