Akbastau rural district is located 125 kilometers from the administrative center of Abaysky district of Karaganda region. Akbastau rural district was founded in 1960. The total population of the rural district is 549 people.The Office of the Akim of Akbastau rural District is a state institution that ensures the activities of the akim of the village and performs other functions provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The office of the village Akim carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution and Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President and Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other regulatory legal acts, as well as the Regulations on the office of the village akim.
