In Astana named the best social projects this year

In Astana was held the fifth anniversary of the Republican exhibition "the Best social projects implemented in Kazakhstan". The event was organized by the Ministry of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan with the sponsorship of JSC NWF "Samruk-Kazyna" and JSC "national managing holding "Baiterek".

The competition Commission has identified the best social projects of this year:

1. "Is available. Convenient. Beautiful," the author Seytbekova Nurgul' Seytbekkyzy,

Almaty (1st place – 2 million tenge);

2. "WORK for ALL", the author of Eshchanov Sanash Sagandykovich, Kostanay (2nd place – 1.5 million tenge);

3. "Service maintenance and repair wheelchair equipment "Inva-HUNDRED," the author Erdildinova Dina Islamovna, Astana (3 first place and 1 million tenge).

According to the results of the online voting, three projects received the most support:

1. "Ramp OK" creation of accessible environment for people with limited mobility" of Aktobe region, 6276 votes, the author of the project: Zhuldasbaev Shakhan Shakhmaranovich;

2. "The inclusion of young people with disabilities to experience accessible sports," from Almaty region, 5941 votes, the author of the project: Khodzhamuratov Tazhigali Abdizhamilovich;

3. "Noble assistance, brave men" of Karaganda region, 5590 votes, the author of the project: Suleymenova Aliya Rakombetovna.

In addition, the project "Ramp OK" received a special prize for the actuality of the problematics and 500 000 tenge.

In all regions of Kazakhstan were submitted 155 applications from which to participate in voting at the national level was selected 20 projects.

The best social projects were distributed in six areas: rehabilitation activities for persons with disabilities, support for persons in difficult situations, providing special social services, employment of persons with disabilities and others.

In the Exhibition took part the non-governmental organizations, public associations, organizations of persons with disabilities, individuals, and other institutions and agencies, whose activities are aimed at development of the system of social protection of the population and improving the system of rendering special social services.

The purpose of this event was to attract attention of civil society to the problems of people in difficult life situations.

Overall for 5 years old to participate in the competition for the title of "Best social project" received 650 applications, of which 114 social projects were winners in the regions.

During this period, the contestants received support in the form of state social order, grants and borrowed funds. As a result, more than three hundred thousand people in the regions who found themselves in difficult situations, received timely assistance.
