Construction of water supply facilities under the program
"Regional development until 2020"
There are 433 SNPS in the region, of which the number of SNPS with access to centralized water supply is 214, which is 49.4% of the locality. Water availability in the population is 276.8 thousand people or 86.2%.
- 214 centralized water supply;
- 218 decentralized water supply;
- 1 use imported water (ushterek village of Bokeyordinsky district-construction in 2019).
Since the start of the regional development program until 2020, 118 objects have been built and reconstructed in the period from 2011-2018, all of them are functioning normally.
The total length of water supply networks in rural localities is 2896.3 km, which are in communal ownership.
One of the main factors of regional development is the provision of high-quality drinking water to the population. Also, the Head of State K. K. Tokayev set a task to provide villages with drinking water up to 85% by the end of 2020.
To date, access to centralized water supply is 214 SNPS (out of 433 SNPS), or 49.4% of the total number of localities where 276.8 thousand people live, or 86.2% of the population of all SNPS.
However, today the water supply of rural settlements with drinking water is an urgent and unresolved issue. At the moment, 218 SNPS do not have centralized water supply.
Also, this year, a group water pipeline is being built in the village of Zhympity of the syrymsky district of the WKO from the Kenashchy underground water field. The project estimate documentation was submitted to the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the customer).
