Water Supply
Across the region, the rural population is 100% provided with drinking water. Currently, out of 413 villages, 362 are supplied with centralized water, while 51 villages, which opted out of CBM, receive water from wells and boreholes.
In 2025, with a total budget of 8.9 billion KZT (14 projects – 8.6 billion KZT (RB – 6.2 billion KZT, LB – 2.4 billion KZT); 40 CBMs – 0.3 billion KZT (LB)), 15 villages were connected to centralized water supply, and 40 villages were equipped with comprehensive block-modular units.
For reference: out of 413 villages, 362 fall under centralized water supply. Centralized water supply is not feasible in 51 settlements (8 are dispersed; in 43 settlements, it is economically unviable due to an average population of about 20 people), where water is provided from wells and boreholes.
As a result, approximately 8,000 people have gained access to clean drinking water, fulfilling the Head of State’s directive to ensure full water supply coverage across the region.
