The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Washington, D.C., along with the Consulates General in New York and San Francisco, offers visa processing services for both U.S. citizens and foreign visitors. Starting from January 1, 2024, individuals aged 16 and above are required to complete fingerprint registration as a mandatory step when applying for a visa to visit Kazakhstan.
Consular fees for the citizens of the United States for B1, B3, B6, B7, B10, B11, B12, C8, C9, C12 category single and multiple entry visas will be 185 USD. For more comprehensive details about visas, please refer to the subsequent sections.
From January 1, 2022, the visa-free regime up to 30 days has been resumed for the citizens of 57 countries, including USA a visa is not required for citizens of USA whose stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan does not exceed 30 calendar days.
Citizens of 57 countries, including the United States, cannot stay in Kazakhstan on a visa-free regime for more than 90 calendar days during each period of 180 calendar days from the date of crossing the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
PCR TEST AND VACCINATION REQUIRMENT LIFTED
From June 8, 2022, when entering Kazakhstan, citizens of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens are NO longer required to document proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a certificate with a negative result of a COVID-19 test by PCR.
ATTENTION! A number of airlines, citing their restrictions, continue to require a PCR certificate with a negative COVID-19 test result or a vaccination certificate. We recommend that you check with your carrier for the latest requirements.
