Department of Culture of Kostanay region

The state institution "Department of culture of the Kostanay region akimat" is a state body of the Republic of Kazakhstan that provides guidance in the field of culture on the territory of the region.

Creates, reorganizes and liquidates state cultural organizations of the region in the field of theater, music and cinema, cultural and leisure activities, library and Museum Affairs, as well as coordinates their activities;

Supports and coordinates the activities of state cultural organizations of the region for the development of theater, music and cinema, cultural and leisure activities and folk art, library and Museum Affairs, provides the activities of regional institutions;

Organizes regional (regional) exhibitions, festivals and competitions in various fields of creative activity;

The right to organize Republican competitions and festivals in various fields of creative activity in agreement with the authorized body;

Organizes work on accounting, protection, conservation and restoration, as well as the use of cultural values of the region, perpetuating the memory of prominent cultural figures;

Creates an expert Commission on temporary export of cultural property;

Monitors the activities of cultural organizations located on the relevant territory and provides information to the authorized body, as well as statistical reports in the prescribed form;

Carries out spectacular cultural events at the regional level;

Conducts certification of state cultural organizations in the region;

Acts as a customer for the construction, reconstruction and repair of cultural objects in the region;

Organizes work on the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, promotes the development of historical, national and cultural traditions and customs;

Issues a certificate of temporary export of cultural property;

Carries out a range of activities aimed at finding and supporting talented young people and promising creative teams;

Ensures compliance with the special regime of objects of national cultural heritage;
