How can students receive social support (dormitory, food, scholarships)?

Students may apply for:

• a place in a dormitory (when studying outside the place of permanent residence);
• state scholarship (academic or social);
• benefits and financial aid (for certain categories of students);
• subsidized meals or their costs reimbursement (in certain universities).

Contact your university's dean's office or student affairs department.
You must submit:

• application for the relevant type of support;

• a copy of identity card;

• certificate of family income (to receive social assistance);

• documents confirming status (for example, large family, disability, orphan, etc.);

• certificate of residence (for dormitory).

The application is reviewed at the university's housing or scholarship
committee. The review period is up to 10 business days.
The decision is formalized by an order from the rector or a university directive.

After approval:

• a student moves into a dormitory under a lease agreement;
• a scholarship or one-time financial aid is awarded;
• A pass or card for discounted meals is issued.

To renew benefits, student status and family social status must be confirmed annually.
In the event of an improvement in financial situation or drop-off, the student is required to notify the university.

• The academic scholarship depends on academic performance (based on the session results).
