Transport arrears

Введение

You are the owner of the vehicle. The 2024 tax payment deadline expired on April 1, 2025.
If the tax is not paid on time, a debt is formed, for which recovery measures are provided.

What happens if I don't pay on time?

If the amount of the debt exceeds 1 MCI (3,692 tenge) within thirty business days of receiving the notice of tax arrears, the state revenue agency issues a tax order.

If the debt is not paid within five business days of receiving the tax order, the corresponding tax order is transferred to private bailiffs for forced collection, which entails additional costs.

Where can I check my debt?

- "e-Salyq Azamat" mobile app;

- Mobile apps of second-tier banks.

What should I do if my bills are seized due to transport debts?

If you have a vehicle tax debt and it has not been repaid on time, the tax order is submitted for execution. As part of the enforcement proceedings, the bailiff has the right to apply security measures, including the seizure of bank accounts and restriction of the right to travel abroad.

What measures are applied?

- seizure of accounts and property;

- restriction on travel outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additionally, payment for the activities of a private bailiff is charged in the amount of up to 25% of the amount of tax arrears.

A simplified debt collection procedure of less than 20 MCI has been in effect since August 19, 2024.:

The penalty is not transferred to a private bailiff.;
Funds in the bank are automatically seized.;
certain transactions with property are limited.
