Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan have the opportunity to study in foreign educational organizations through grants provided within the framework of international treaties and agreements between the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign states.
Grants provided within the framework of international treaties and agreements between the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign states provide for free education (partially or fully) in graduate and postgraduate education programs, as well as language training.
Important:
A recommendation from the Kazakh side does not automatically guarantee a grant award.

1. The candidate shall submit the following documents within the established timeframe:
2. The package of documents usually includes:
- orphans and children left without parental care - a document confirming the absence of parents of the child;
- persons with disabilities from childhood and children with disabilities, a certificate of disability;
- children from large families - birth certificates of four or more minor children living together or a copy of a court decision on adoption;
- children from a rural community – information about the place of residence of the applicant from a rural community;

All the documents shall be submitted in accordance with the competitive selection requirements and can be provided in e- or hard copy format.
The competitive selection is done by the committee formed by the authority.
The competitive selection procedure for the applicants includes two consecutive rounds:
The main selection criteria are:
1) a foreign language proficiency level according to the score point system;
2) the average score of the education diploma according to the score point system;
3) the Independent Expert Committee assessment.
Based on the scores calculated, the Final Selection Committee shall review and approve the core and reserve applicant lists for study abroad within the allocated quota.
The results are published on the website of JSC “Center for International Programs” in the “News” section.
