How to get a non-conforming product (goods) information?

The non-conforming products (goods) register includes the following sections:

• alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, juices, drinking water packaged in containers;
• meat and meat products;
• poultry meat and poultry products;
• fish and fish products;
• milk and dairy products;
• fruit and vegetable products and processed fruits and vegetables;
• flour and cereal products;
• oil and fat products;
• confectionery and bakery products, other food products;
• light industry products and children and teenagers products;
• household chemical products and perfumes and cosmetics;
• chemical and petrochemical products
• toys and other non-food consumer goods.

The consumers can use a non-conforming products (goods) register to search for counterfeit and non-conforming products information. The non-conforming products (goods) register is maintained in the Kazakh and Russian languages.

The non-conforming products (goods) register contains the following information:

• product types according to the coding to Annex 1 to these Rules and a product barcode;
• a product name;
• name and location of the manufacturer or surname, name, patronymic (if any) and location of the manufacturer or name and location of the person authorized by the manufacturer, name and location of the organization importer or surname, name, patronymic (if any) and location of the manufacturer importer;
• country of origin;
• place of the sampling (facility name, address);
• date of manufacture, expiration date, storage conditions;
• lot or series number;
• minutes of tests as per sanitary and epidemiological expertise findings;
• Information on the violations identified in the safety and quality standards (actual values versus acceptance standards).

The information published is effective and adheres only to the products of series (lot) and manufacture dates indicated in the non-conforming products register.

The products (goods) safety monitoring is a system of measures aimed at identifying, preventing and suppressing the import, production, use and sale of the products (goods) that do not meet requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.

The products (goods) identified during the monitoring as posing a risk to the public health are entered in the Non-Conforming Products Register approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Order No. 229/2020 MoH RK “On approval of the rules for maintaining a register of products that do not meet requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population" dated December 3, 2020.

The non-conforming products register is monthly posted on the website of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan .
