To assist the women entrepreneurs in taking their first steps on the difficult path of their own business development, NEC "Atameken" has opened the women's entrepreneurship development centers in all its regional chambers. The work of the Centers will further expand the women's economic opportunities.

In 2022, the Women's Entrepreneurship Development Centers started working on the basis of the regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs. This project was implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan and with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank within the framework of the Solidarity Fund for Kazakhstan.
Since the beginning of this year, the Centers have been implemented within the framework of the «Мен кәсіпкер» Entrepreneurial Potential Development Tool The National Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship for 2021-2025. At the moment, the Centers operate in 20 regions of the country, the operator of which is NEC "Atameken".
The Centers are a platform for non-financial support of women with entrepreneurial initiative and women entrepreneurs, where they receive a number of services for launching startups, further expansion and development of existing businesses, as well as participate in training programs and networking events.

Specifically for the development of women's entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kazakhstan, there is a project: "One village - one product".
The aim of the OSOP project is to improve the quality of local products, create local brands, marketing and increase the value of products on the market.
The project is aimed at encouraging the cooperation of fellow villagers to create unique local products using local resources and taking into account the specifics of the region. It provides active support for rural women who want to produce goods and products in demand on the market, and not alone, but together. To participate in it, a woman must apply at the Center for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship. There is an opportunity to engage in entrepreneurship at home.
