Now we are seeing that dogs accumulate near schools. They accompany children to lessons, then hang out near educational institutions and pose a threat to the life
and health of schoolchildren. We cannot catch right near schools,
including for ethical reasons. In general, with the onset of cold weather, dogs begin to rut, they run away from farmsteads, huddle in packs, and become aggressive. Therefore, today we have activated the capture of stray animals. For three days we keep and feed in a special detention center. Then, if there are no people who take them away, we destroy them,” said Bolatzhan Togasov. After the tragedy that recently happened in the East Kazakhstan region, where a dog killed a 7-year-old girl, we are very afraid of such situations. In our country, too, a couple of years ago, a fighting dog broke free from the chain and bit the child, - says Togasov.The detention center for stray animals is located on the outskirts of Taldykorgan. Today 32 dogs are kept here. We traveled around a number of streets of Taldykorgan and saw for ourselves that there are really a lot of stray dogs in the city. Some animals run up to people in search of food, while others, on the contrary, run away from them in fear. On one of the streets, a disabled brown puppy caught our eye.He could barely move on three legsand clearly craved human attention and affection.
