In Almaty region, work continues on vaccination of the population from the age of 12 against coronavirus infection. To date, there are 318 vaccination points and 76 Mobile points in the region. In addition, residents of the region actively participate in revaccination courses. For example, 110,826 people underwent a full course of immunization with the qazcovid-in and SinopharmVeroCell vaccines, and 3,145 people were re-vaccinated with the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine. To date, the number of people who received the first dose of the vaccine in the region has reached 921,975 people, which is 77%, the second component – 857,225 citizens or 71% of the adult population subject to immunization.
In addition, vaccination among adolescents, pregnant and lactating women is actively carried out in Almaty region. In total, the region received 380,250 doses of Komirnati vaccine. Today, the vaccinated population is 64,090 people, including 51,423 adolescents, 3,004 pregnant women and 9,663 women during lactation. Recall that vaccination of adolescents is carried out only with the consent of parents or legal representatives.
