The single-industry town of Tekeli, Almaty region, is actively working on economic development. Today, there are more than 1,411 enterprises operating there, including production facilities, peasant farms and SME facilities, where about 4 thousand people are employed. One of the dynamically developing enterprises of the monotown is Tekeli-Granit LLP, which has been on the domestic market for almost 15 years. Specializing in the processing of natural stone, the production of granite and marble products, it makes a significant contribution to the production of building materials.

According to the head of the enterprise Vladimir Streltsov, about 35 types of products are manufactured at the production site. These are modular and polished tiles, slabs - thick slabs of any given configuration, different types of paving stones, road curbs, railings, steps, window sills, countertops and various architectural products, including fountains, and much more. The plant's capacity is designed for the production of 24 thousand m2 of granite products, 20 thousand p/m of road curbs and 40 thousand p/m of curbs per year.

Blocks of granite from the Kapal-Arasan, Kurty, Kordai, Zheltau deposits serve as raw materials for the production of products of various colors and sizes. The most important thing for us is the quality of our products, so we pay special attention to primary materials. Our granite polished products were used in the improvement of the central square of the regional center, the construction of 2 road interchanges in Almaty, the improvement of the Water-Green Boulevard in the capital.
