Codex Mission
Code of ethics (hereinafter the code) is a management tool for the dynamic development of the SCE on PVC" Tekeli city hospital " (further-the medical organization, MO) and effective interaction with interested faces on basis of ethical standards and norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The MF code contributes to improving the efficiency of the corporate governance and medical care process, as well as interaction with stakeholders.
1. Introduction
1.1. this Code is developed in accordance with the provisions of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, internal documents of the Ministry of health, including the Charter of the medical organization and establishes the basic values and principles of business ethics, ethical standards of business interaction.
1.2 the purpose of this Code is to facilitate effective interaction with stakeholders through the development of corporate culture and the application of business conduct practices.
1.3 the following concepts and terms are used in the Code:
Business ethics is a set of ethical principles and norms of business communication that guide a medical organization, its management and employees in their activities;
Interested person-a person who exercises the rights provided for by law and the Charter and is associated with the activities of a medical organization (Patients, partners, representatives of authorized bodies, business partners));
Conflict of interest-a situation in which the personal interest of an employee of a medical organization affects or may affect the impartial performance of official duties;
Corporate culture is a set of special values, principles, norms of behavior and attitudes for a medical organization;
Employee-a person who is in an employment relationship with a medical organization and directly performs work under an employment contract;
1.4. the medical organization accepts and is guided by the provisions of this Code for making business decisions in relations with management, employees and stakeholders, both in strategically important and in everyday conditions.
2. values and principles of ethical standards
2.1 the main corporate values that shape the activities of a medical organization are courtesy, reliability and professionalism of its employees, efficiency of their work, mutual assistance, respect for each other, interested parties and society as a whole.
2.2 the medical organization is guided by the following principles of ethical standards::
honesty;
justice;
honesty;
transparency;
responsibility.
2.3 the medical organization believes that all interested persons comply with the principles of the above-mentioned ethical standards.
2.4 when carrying out its activities a medical organization:
Complies with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of state bodies, and other documents related to the activities of a medical organization;
ensures the observance and respect of human rights;
acts fairly and in good faith, except in business practices, does not accept bribes and similar negative practices, as well as the practice of awarding and receiving gifts (such gifts should not be significant and should not be given, often perceived));
treats the management and employees with honor, respect and compliance with ethical standards;
all relationships with stakeholders will strive for mutually beneficial interaction;
2.5 the ethical standards of a medical organization regulate the following main areas of business relations: relationships with stakeholders and employees of the medical organization, government agencies, affiliated organizations, business partners and the public.
2.6 effective organization of work is based on mutual obligations between the Ministry of defense and all interested parties. Compliance with mutual obligations is a necessary condition for constructive work.
