The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Ministry) announces the following.The Ministry worked to collect and analyze operational data to determine the number of unregistered farm animals in the country. According to the regional territorial inspections of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry (hereinafter - the Committee), currently the number of unregistered farm animals in the country is 432,024 heads, including: Сattle - 168,953 heads, cattle - 198,788 heads, pigs - 1,512. head, camel -6,397 goals, horses - 56,374 goals (data are being updated). In order to prevent the situation that occurred last year (in Mangistau region), in order to legalize unidentified animals in the database of identification of farm animals, the Ministry decided to open a "Green Corridor-3" in the database of the Ministry of Agriculture from February 1 to May 31 this year. In this regard, in order to avoid discrepancies in the statistics and data on agricultural animals, we ask you to assist in the organization of work with veterinarians of public utilities, together with the regional Departments of Statistics to update statistics.
