Implements state policy and coordinates tourism activities in the territory of the Zhetisu region; analyzes the market of tourist services and submits to the authorized body the necessary information on the development of tourism in the Zhetisu region; develops and implements measures to protect regional tourist resources; coordinates the planning and construction of tourist industry facilities in the Zhetisu region; provides assistance in the activities of children's and youth camps, tourist associations; provides methodological and advisory assistance to subjects of tourist activity in matters related to the organization of tourist activities; develops and supports entrepreneurship in the field of tourist activity as a measure to increase employment; creates tourism infrastructure on the territory of the relevant administrative-territorial unit, takes measures for the construction and development of facilities capable of meeting the needs of tourists.
