In accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, employees are granted maternity leave, as well as parental leave.
During the period of parental leave, the employee retains his place of work (position). At the end of the vacation, the employer is obliged to provide the employee with the opportunity to continue working with the same working conditions.
Responsibility of employers
The observance of the labor rights of women and persons with family responsibilities is the responsibility of every employer. Violation of the guarantees established by the legislation may entail liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In case of violation of labor rights, employees have the right to contact the territorial divisions of the State Labor Inspectorate for advice and protection of their legitimate rights and interests.
Compliance with labor guarantees contributes to strengthening the social protection of employees, preserving family values and creating safe working conditions.
