Key indicators of the UAPF as of November 1
As of November 1, 2021, pension savings in the amount of more than 13.2 trillion tenge were formed on the accounts of depositors of the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund. For the year, from 01.11.2020 to 01.11.2021, the amount increased by 613.5 billion tenge by 5%, and from January 2021 by 3%.
The main amount of pension savings was formed at the expense of mandatory pension contributions (OPV) and amounted to 12.9 trillion tenge (an increase of 5% over the past 12 months). The amount of pension savings on mandatory professional pension contributions (OPP) amounted to 355.7 billion tenge (an increase of 16%), the amount of pension savings on voluntary pension contributions (DPV) amounted to about 1.7 billion tenge.
In the ten months of 2021, UAPF depositors contributed more funds than in the same period last year. As of November 1, 2021, pension contributions totaling about 1.1 trillion tenge were received into depositors' accounts, which exceeded the indicator for the same period in 2020 (by 203.5 billion tenge or 23%). Of the total contributions, 95.7% are receipts to the UAPF for OPV - 1.02 trillion tenge (an increase of 24% over the past 12 months), 45.7 billion tenge (an increase of 17%) was received by the UAPF, 567 million tenge (an increase of 39%) was transferred under the DPV.
In addition to the contributions of depositors themselves, a significant increase in pension savings was provided due to net investment income, which from January 1 to November 1, 2021 exceeded 1.2 trillion tenge, which exceeds the figures of last year by 105.6 billion tenge or 10%. The yield on pension assets of the UAPF under the management of the National Bank of Kazakhstan since the beginning of the year amounted to 93%, with inflation of 7.0%. At the same time, the yield for the last 12 months was 10,90%, with inflation for the same period at 8.9%.
The number of individual pension accounts in the UAPF as of November 1, 2021 amounted to 11.7 million units. The largest number of accounts have been opened for mandatory pension contributions (OPV) – 10,910,003 units. Next are the accounts formed at the expense of the OPPV,536 752ed., the number of accounts at the expense of the DPV in the UAPF is now 56 487ed.
Since the beginning of the year, the UAPF has paid 2.2 trillion tenge to depositors, most of them were lump-sum pension payments (EPO) - 2.0 trillion tenge. Payments by age - 78.7 billion tenge. This is followed by: transfers to insurance organizations - they amounted to about 50.8 billion tenge, inheritance payments of 47.7 billion tenge, 33.0 billion tenge in connection with permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, 4.5 billion tenge for burial and payments for invalid1.8 billion tenge.
It is worth noting that the amount of the average monthly payment according to the schedule (due to reaching retirement age) It amounted to 28,472 tenge, and the maximum amount of monthly payment was 673,643 tenge.
The UAPF was established on August 22, 2013 on the basis of JSC "NPF "GNPF". The founder and shareholder of the UAPF is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The trust management of pension assets of the UAPF is carried out by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since January 1, 2016, the functions of developing proposals to improve the efficiency of pension assets management have been transferred to the National Fund Management Council.
