The Department of Emergency Situations of the Koksu district asks citizens to comply with the basic requirements of fire safety in forest-steppe massifs:
- do not throw burning matches, cigarette butts, smouldering rags in the forest;
- do not build a fire in dense thickets and in coniferous young growth, under low-hanging tree crowns, near warehouses of wood, peat, in the immediate vicinity of mature crops;
- do not leave self-igniting materials in the forest: rags and rags soaked in oil, gasoline, glass dishes, which in sunny weather can focus the sun's rays and ignite dry vegetation;
- do not set fire to the reeds;
- do not leave the fire burning after leaving the parking lot.
