There are 127 sports facilities in Koksu district. Currently, work is being carried out on the policy of the Elbasy until 2020 to reach 30% of the population who are constantly engaged in sports. More than 12 thousand people are constantly engaged in sports, which is 30.9 %. In each rural district, in order to develop sports, since 2014, sports methodologists have been working. There are only 36 coaches in the sports school. Currently, there are 12 sports in the youth sports school of Koksu district: freestyle wrestling, judo, geko-Roman wrestling, Kazakh kures, boxing, football, togyzkumalak, volleyball, khan doiby, sambo, basketball, arm wrestling (kol kures) in which 1297 children are engaged in sports.
The Department of Physical Culture and Sports conducts events according to the annual plan. Sports events are held on all holidays. In each rural district, annual plans of methodists are approved. The work of methodologists in sports is controlled by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
