In accordance with subparagraph 2) of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Article 69 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 1995 "On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" in connection with the expiration of the constitutional term of office of the deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in October 2020, I RESOLVE:
1.To appoint for August 12, 2020 elections of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 2.The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims of the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, regions to take measures for the organizational, material, technical and financial support of elections of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. This Decree comes into effect from the date of publication.
