Every year, on the first Thursday of February, all countries celebrate World Election Day, which was established in Budapest in 2005 as a professional holiday of electoral authorities. This year, the holiday will be held on February 3.
The tradition of celebrating World Election Day is established by the Association of election organizers of European countries, and the Republic of Kazakhstan is its full member.
It is aimed at systematizing the process of democratization in the public consciousness by establishing world Election Day, informing the population about achievements in the electoral process and forming a tendency to democratic values among voters.
The current electoral processes in the country are aimed at implementing the right of residents of the district to vote and be elected.Experts in the field of organization and conduct of elections aimed at ensuring the electoral rights of citizens and active participation of the population in the elections.
According to the kerbulak District Election Commission, 60 Election Commissions have been established in the district, including 1 territorial and 59 precinct election commissions with a total number of 334 people. On the initiative of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on February 3, 2022, Open Days will be held in Kerbulak district in Precinct and territorial election commissions. Together with the Open Days, meetings of members of election commissions with secondary school students on the topic "constitutional right to choose and be elected" are held.The main purpose of the event is to provide young people with full information about the elections, improve their political and legal literacy.
The main task set by the organizers is to reveal the role of elections in the establishment of basic democratic principles and postulates in the minds of citizens of the country, to provide young voters with knowledge and understanding of their rights, the opportunity to participate in the government of the state directly or through their freely elected representatives within the framework of the implementation of democratic freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.
As you know, on January 10, 2021, regular elections of Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of all levels were held in the country, and on July 25, 2021, elections of mayors of Basshi, Zholaman, Kyzylzhar, Saryozek and Shubar rural districts were held on September 12, 2021. Residents of the district actively participated in these political campaigns and chose their political positions!
