One of the most popular requests for social benefits in Kazakhstan is the issues of registration and receipt of maternity benefits. This is especially true when the first child appears in the family.
A lot of requests on this topic are received by the contact center for the social and labor sphere of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens". The share of consultations on this issue is about 20% of all appeals on pension and social security issues.
Almaty is the leader among the regions on this issue (13.7%), Turkestan (11.5%), Mangystau (9.7%), Almaty (9.6%) regions are located below, and Nur-Sultan city closes the TOP 5 regions (9.2%). Less interested in maternity benefits in North Kazakhstan (0.7%), Kostanay (2.2%) and Pavlodar (2.6%) regions.
