Fire safety rules for the storage of coarse feed

Hay fire is an annual problem faced by firefighters. The coarse food prepared with great difficulty is destroyed by fire in a matter of minutes. In order to prevent feed fires, employees of the Emergency Department Karatal district asks to comply with fire safety requirements.
It must be remembered that hay easily catches fire, and the fire from it can quickly spread to residential buildings or other buildings.
Therefore, we remind you of the basic requirements of fire safety when harvesting and storing hay:
During the harvesting of grain crops and forage harvesting, it is prohibited:
* smoke outside specially equipped places and work with the use of open fire in and near grain arrays, as well as near hay and straw stacks;
The head of the organization organizes work to control the temperature of hay in hay stacks (stacks) and hay stacks with high humidity.
Vehicles at the entrance to the stacks, stacks and canopies, where coarse feed and fibrous materials are stored, must face the side opposite to the direction of exhaust gases from the exhaust systems of engines, have serviceable spark arresters, except for the use of the exhaust gas neutralization system, and stop from the stacks (shoh) at a distance of at least 3 meters.
During the loading of coarse feed and fibrous materials into the car body, its engine must be turned off. The movement of the car can be allowed only after inspection of the parking place of the car and harvesting of hay (straw) located near the exhaust pipe.
* Sites for the placement of stacks (stacks), as well as pairs of stacks (stacks) or stacks must be plowed along the perimeter with a strip of at least 4 meters wide. The distance from the edge of the plowed strip to the stack (stack) located on the site should be at least 15 meters, and to the free-standing stack (stack) - at least 5 meters.
The area of the base of one stack (stack) should not exceed 150 sq. meters, and stacks of pressed hay (straw) - 500 sq. meters.
The fire-fighting distances between individual stacks, canopies and stacks (stacks) should be at least 20 meters. When placing stacks, canopies and stacks (stacks) in pairs, the distance between stacks and canopies should be provided for at least 6 meters, and between their pairs - at least 30 meters.
The fire-fighting distances between the blocks of stacks and stacks (no more than 20 units can be placed in a block) must be at least 100 meters.
Stacks (stacks), canopies and stacks of coarse feed are placed (except for placement on household plots):
a) at a distance of at least 15 meters to the axis of the communication lines;
b) at a distance of at least 50 meters from buildings, structures and forest plantations;
c) outside the right-of-way lanes and security zones of railways, roadside lanes of highways and security zones of overhead power lines.
Fire-fighting distances from the point of preparation of grass flour to buildings, structures, structures and tanks with fuel and lubricants should be at least 50 meters, and to open warehouses of coarse feed - at least 150 meters.
It is prohibited to store hay, straw and firewood:
a) at a distance of less than 50 meters from bridges, overpasses, track structures and tracks of organized train traffic, as well as forest plantations;
b) at a distance of less than 15 meters from the axis of the communication lines;
c) within the security zones of overhead power lines.
- do not leave children unattended – a child's prank with fire is often the cause of hay fire.
In case of fire, call the fire service on 101 or the emergency service 112.
