It is possible to extend the validity period of the EDS without visiting the PSC if you received it at the PSC. The procedure with an EDS obtained online through the egov.kz portal is different. Here, after 1 year, you will need to reissue the EDS again.
First, make sure that NCALayer is running on your computer. Then log in to the portal. The service is called "Reissue of EDS". You will be redirected to pki.gov.kz.
Next, you must accept the user agreement and specify the path to the key store. For convenience, we recommend creating a new folder indicating the validity period of the issued EDS key.
Fill in the fields and confirm the request by entering the password for the valid key. After updating the status, set a password for the new keys. It remains only to upload the certificates and new EDS keys will appear in the folder.
