How to prevent forest and steppe fires.

How to prevent forest and steppe fires.

With the onset of the spring-summer period, they are increasingly trying to spend their leisure time in nature: bask in the sun, breathe fresh forest air, play volleyball with friends, fry kebabs. Many people leave behind unquenched bonfires and half-smoked cigarettes in the forests. Dry grass and last year's leaves begin to smolder and then catch fire. Such carelessness of people leads to fires, the damage from which is estimated in millions of tenge. What measures are being taken to prevent and eliminate emergency situations of fire-hazardous situations in our area?

As a rule, fires occur from the negligent attitude of people to compliance with fire safety rules, careless handling of fire.

Such an attitude to nature should not be unpunished.

For unauthorized annealing and uncontrolled burning of dry grass in agricultural fields, stubble burning and non-compliance with fire safety rules in forest and steppe areas, administrative liability is provided for under articles 336, 367, 410 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses. That will result in a pretty penny for irresponsible citizens. The amount of the fine for such an offense ranges from three to 40 monthly calculation indicators. And if a larger damage is caused to the property, the violator will be charged with an amount of up to one hundred MCI.

And in order to protect yourself and your loved ones from such troubles, the emergency department of the Karatal district is advised to follow the following rules:

- remove dry grass and household combustible waste from their local territories;

- refrain from making bonfires on their plots;

- when carrying out electric welding and other works related to the use of an open fire, strictly observe all norms and rules of fire safety;

- do not burn dry grass and combustible garbage on the territory of settlements, enterprises and organizations;

- make sure that the cigarette butts are thrown out in strictly designated places and are carefully extinguished;

- do not allow children to play with matches.

If fires are detected, first of all, you need to inform the service 101, 112 and try to take measures to extinguish them.
