A few general tips when buying and handling pyrotechnics:
– be sure to ask the seller for a certificate of conformity confirming that this particular product has been tested for quality and safety;
– carefully study the information for consumers about the manufacturer, storage, disposal, shelf life of the product (no more than 2 years);
- the instructions must be printed, not glued. If you have not been provided with all this, refuse to buy!
It is forbidden to:
— carry pyrotechnic products in pockets;
— use pyrotechnic products at home;
— launch fireworks from the balcony;
— keep the wick near the face during ignition;
— use pyrotechnics in strong winds;
— direct fireworks at people, animals, throw firecrackers under your feet;
— bend low over lit fireworks;
— be closer than 15 meters from the active fireworks and fireworks.
You need to light the wick at arm's length. Remember that the wick burns for 3-5 seconds and it is very difficult to extinguish the flying spark, so if it gets on the skin, a burn is guaranteed!
