Remember that it is easier to prevent a fire than to put it out. The OCHS of the Alakolsky district reminds that for this purpose it is necessary to carry out elementary fire safety rules on a daily basis.
Always be careful when handling fire. Do not use an open fire near flammable and combustible liquids, do not smoke in bed, utility sheds, storerooms and other places of storage of combustible materials.
Determine a safe place to store matches, inaccessible to children. Remember: children, imitating adults, are often the culprits of fires, and often they themselves become victims of fire. Do not leave children alone without adult supervision.
Gas and electric household appliances (irons, televisions, tape recorders, etc.) require constant supervision and good condition. Install electric irons and electric kettles on special fireproof stands. To avoid fires, do not leave them on unattended and do not allow children to use them.
To protect electrical networks from overloads and short circuits, use only factory-made fuses. It is dangerous to use homemade fuses in electrical panels – "bugs".
Do not arrange storerooms in stairwells, corridors and attics. Do not store any items, furniture or other combustible materials under staircases and in attics.
Do not use an open fire to warm frozen water pipes and heating. For this purpose, use hot water, steam or heated sand.
If you have a vehicle, provide a reliable and safe place to store gasoline. It is dangerous in terms of fire and for people's lives to store flammable liquids in apartments, corridors, stairwells, basements and attics. When visiting attics, storerooms, basements and buildings for household purposes, do not use matches and candles. Use electric lights for these purposes.
Responsibility for the fire safety of a residential apartment or house is assigned to tenants and homeowners.
If you find a fire in your house, immediately report it by phone "101" to the fire service or to the emergency service "112". At the same time, it is necessary to clearly inform the name of the locality or district, city or village, streets, number and number of floors of the house, the floor where the fire occurred. Give your last name, first name, patronymic and the phone number you are calling. If there is a danger to human life, it is urgently necessary to help children, the elderly, and the sick out of the room. In the room, it is necessary to turn off, as far as possible, electricity and gas. At the same time, you should start extinguishing the fire with improvised means. Protect your house from fire!
