Dear citizens, smoking in bed is a very dangerous habit. A habit that is life-threatening in every way. Always shake out the ashtrays after use (especially at night), after wetting the ashes and cigarette butts. Do not place ashtrays on the handles of chairs, because the center of gravity of the cigarette moves as it burns.gorenje. As a result, she will easily fall on the chair and set fire to the upholstery. According to statistics, a significant number of fires occur precisely when a smoker who is intoxicated falls asleep with a lit cigarette or accidentally drops smoldering ashes on the bed. Not only that, in most such cases, it is not possible to save such would-be arsonists, but not only he, but also his loved ones may suffer.
A fire caused by a drunken smoker in the initial stage is not always noticeable. When a burning cigarette or even a spark from it gets on a synthetic carpet or foam padding of upholstered furniture, the fire does not burn, smoke does not fall from windows and doors, but it is enough to rot one square decimeter of a carpet, mattress or sofa so that a deadly concentration of poisonous gas accumulates in the apartment. Therefore, help to a drunken smoker comes, as a rule, late, in which the "red thread" is one path to death alcohol-cigarette-fire.
It is a human pity for people who have paid with their lives for their own or someone else's carelessness, weakness before vodka. But it is no less a pity for those who remained alive, but experienced the incredible torments of burns and suffocation, which fills every cell of the body and brain.
Fire is ruthless and indiscriminate. It occurs wherever it finds at least the slightest loophole, and a drunk or alcohol-inhibited person is a universal source of fire. At the same time, it should be remembered that a fire, if it does not cause human casualties, still does not pass without a trace. This is a disaster that, unlike others, is necessarily accompanied by irretrievable losses.
Dear citizens, residents and guests of the district, the Department of Emergency Situations of the Alakolsky district reminds, warns, be careful with fire, observe fire safety rules.
